БИЫЛ ТҮРКІСТАН ҚАЛАСЫНДА 94 КӨШЕГЕ АСФАЛЬТ ТӨСЕЛЕДІ
A number of plans will be implemented this year on the quality of roads in the city of Turkestan. According to Arman Ospan, the head of the city «Department of passenger transport and highways», asphalt will be laid on 94 streets (89.6 kilometers) in the city this year.
In addition, the construction of several transitional facilities will be completed in 2023 and will be put into use this year.
According to the plan of 2024, the distance between Kazybek bi and S. Yerubaev streets will be repaired, and Z. Maykotov street will be connected to Tauke Khan avenue.
In addition, a 4-lane road, a bicycle path and a pedestrian path will be built through the reconstruction of the Atabai highway. If the construction of a 2-kilometer road on A. Zhangeldin Street connecting to B. Mylin Street is completed, heavy trucks leaving the industrial area will directly enter the West Europe — West China highway without any obstacles. At the same time, the construction of a bridge on A. Zhangeldin street is in progress for the comfort of traffic and pedestrians.
Since the beginning of the year, public transport on routes No. 2, 4, 9, 9A has been replaced by high-capacity buses. According to the indicators of the last three years, all the old public transport vehicles in the city (184 buses) have been replaced by modern, high-capacity buses.
